Creed Shadow Stalker
Ranger Apex Chimera Subclass Animation
The Apex Chimera comes to life! There's a little too much going on with the background obscuring the animation, but overall this thing looks epic! Minor touch-ups and we're golden!
Creed NPC Animation
Creed is moving upon the page! The characters on the right are getting updates to change the effects to darkness to better fit with his shadow monk abilities.
Vault of the Elders: The Forgotten Trial
Zahralith NPCs
- Snake-like creatures that can create psionic limbs to manipulate things like humanoids. This doesn't come across well in the artwork drafts
- Very intelligent and stick to their own codes (also doesn't come across in the artwork, they look a bit evil IMO)
- Hierarchical society with the lowest level willing to risk their lives for advancement.
Stats/Tactics
- Proficiency in INT, CHA, and WIS saving throws.
- As they grow in power, they also become stealthier and can hide as a bonus action.
- Their psionic limb reach also increases as they grow in power.
- Higher level versions are in the works.
Zahralith Concept Art
They look a bit evil and their psionic limbs aren't showing clearly, but overall coming along great. Still doing votes if you wanted to see what option A looks like!
Vault of the Elders Portal Encounter
This is the first encounter in the book in a series of 3. This can be a mini campaign, a one-shot, or added to an existing campaign.
3 options presented:
- 2 Combats
- An exploration stealth with supplemental roll options
- A social exchange (with options for people to use their tools!)
When characters succeed, they get access to the portal to the trials.
Everything you need is on this one spread.
Warlock: Witch Patron Subclass
Overview
Gets extra benefits for its enchantment spells and has a way to debuff enemies.
Binding Enchantment
- Multiple options for your enchantment spells (even a positive one if you're using it on an ally)
- Works with the qunitessential Hex, but also works with other solid enchantment spells like Hold Person, Bane, etc.
Effigy
- You can use on an ally or enemy to give them advantage/disadvantage by swapping yours.
Magnetic Enchantments
- You can manipulate creatures affected by your Binding Enchantment and/or Effigy to pull them closer towards you or each other
- Wording probably needs to be improved, going to rely on the Technical editor to help me out here!
Shared Suffering
- You can force a creature to take half your damage.
Wizard: Ritualist Subclass
Overview
Expert ritual magic casters, these wizards get a host of benefits to their rituals.
Empowered
- Extra benefits when casting rituals. Because rituals are free, you can expect to pretty much always have something active.
- Also get 2 tool proficiencies
Ritual Savant
- Free access to extra ritual spells, even from other spell lists
Ritual Sacrifice
- Use your bonus action to sacrifice your future action to give another player an extra action
Extreme Precision
- Can cast rituals 10x the speed (1 minute extra instead of 10)
- Ally gains a benefit.
Exaptation
- You can cast a non ritual spell as a ritual once.
- You can make additional attempts, but it's dangerous.
Creed's Codex: Vault of Aeonian Wisdom
Initial Bas Relief Concept
There was a westmarches D&D game running in the server which culminated in an epic showdown. The sculpture will document the story and be included in the book.
Sorcerer: Blood Sorcery Subclass
The illustration is coming along! She's fashioned her clothes out of her blood. Creepy!
