Have a piercing question?

Who are you?

Hello! I'm Brendan, the founder of Knight Vision Creative. I was burned out at work and simultaneously thinking D&D really was missing a summoner class. Fast forward several years and I have an indie publishing studio competing with the 8,000 pound gorilla!

Why did you start Knight Vision Creative?

I had a belief that work and life should be an epic adventure with friends. I started Knight Vision Creative to build legendary content with you. Everyone should have the opportunity to have their voice heard.

Do you use any AI art?

No.

I work with a team of artists and animators. This gives me extreme freedom to customize the illustrations and implement community feedback. The community involvement shaping the artwork is an undeniable strength.

If a creator is passionate about TTRPGs and uses their limited funds to support humans bringing the content to life, the quality of the final product follows suit.

I heard you're giving away a 200-page free PDF. Why?

As a small business in a space dominated by a behemoth with practically unlimited funds, I thought about how to build trust with my future customers. I decided to weave snippets of all my products into a free preview that's better than what others are charging for.

I want people to feel confident they know what they are getting. When someone is ready to buy their next book or join my upcoming Kickstarter Campaign, they will know whether my products are the type of material they are looking for.

My GM doesn't let me use most 3rd-party content because it isn't balanced. Would I be able to use yours?

Yes!

An extensive amount of time, spreadsheets, and business intelligence tools are used to balance the material. Not to mention once all that is done, it is reviewed by a former lead technical editor from WoTC as a final gatekeeper.

I've put over 500 hours into balancing my material.

If your GM has any questions, they can always reach out to me directly on Discord as well.

I want to be involved in design, artwork, and lore decisions. How do I get my voice heard?

Discord

I build with the community in a very literal sense. You vote on which artwork concepts to proceed with. You provide feedback on mechanics before they even make it to the technical editor. You help define the lore, even getting your character names into it.

What version of D&D is this compatible with?

5E and 5.5E. Where rules/balance varies, the separate versions are clarified.

What's the best way to get in touch?

Discord

I drop updates in Discord daily.

  • You can vote on the concept art
  • You get early access to new content and can provide feedback
  • You can ask questions or reach me (Brendan) directly

If you need something, that's the place to head!

I have a killer manuscript I've written, what should I do next?

I'm working on the definitive guide to help you on your adventure. Sign up to get notified when it drops.
