Creed Shadow Stalker
Shieldspear Fighter Subclass Updates
Updated Shieldspear based on technical editor and balancing.
- This subclass makes an awesome tank, but they make an even more awesome damage dealer.
- The changes to Unyielding Spirit give them a massive boost to one attack's accuracy every round. This is very strong at level 3 and 4 when it comes online before they get 2+ attacks.
- The modifications to Impregnable give out of combat uses and makes sure your allies don't get caught in the condition.
- Fortitude was tied to Indomitable and no longer takes your reaction. This frees up your bonus actions as well.
- Hardened removed the damage from spell level due to how few creatures cast spells versus spell-like effects. You also regain the hp rather than temp. Consolation prize on a failure.
- Grit was modified to require you to be bloodied, but also let's you use the ability to potentially turn a fail into a success and only is spent if it's successful.
Apex Chimera Ranger Subclass Updates
Initial balancing showed the Apex Chimera coming in a bit weak.
- Lowered the cost of the top three tiers of point costs
- Buffed the damage of Breath Weapon from d12 to d20
- It was too many points
- You'd only get to use it 1 out of 3 rounds
- You're giving up 2 attacks to use it
- Same, buffed eye rays from 1d4/1d8 to 1d8/1d12
- You can now get way more traits at a given time.
- There are 45 points worth of traits and you can get 20 at level 20.
- Added 1 evolution point cost traits
Creed's Codex: Vault of Aeonian Wisdom
Cover Updated
- I'd like to see more of the sculpture highlighted with lighting to make the page less dark and show the magic suffusing the sculpture to activate the door
- The transition from the light column through the amulet to the magical activation of the door isn't clear
- Probably a few more, but this is huge progress and I'm stoked!
Cover Updated
- I don't like the jagged column in the center
- Otherwise, this is epic!
- The faint gold and gems that have worn away with time are an amazing touch!
